As well as the tour listed below Gary has been commissioned by the British Legion to produce a body of work to commemorate the 100th anniversary of WW1 with particular emphasis on the Isle of Man

These works will be displayed at the British Legion Exhibition in Castletown, Isle of Man and in a number of British Legion publications.

A recent statement from the Chairperson of the BNTVA states that:

Just to confirm that your artworks composed the majority of pieces in the Shadow of the Bomb Exhibition in support of the British Nuclear Test Veterans Recognition Campaign.

The original works were previewed to BNTVA members during the Annual Conference May 2013 in Coventry, Viewings at this venue were also held for representatives from Coventry Cathedral and Officials from AVEN, the association of French Nuclear Veterans.  The exhibition was then used at the formal launch of our Recognition Campaign in the Houses of Parliament, Westminster with an exclusive showing to Members of Parliament.

The exhibition received it's public premiere in London in a specially commissioned Oxford Street Gallery where during the week of the exhibition it received critical acclaim from Sue Grayson-Ford the director of Campaign for Drawing and founding Director of the Serpentine Gallery.

The exhibition Travelled to Central France in October 2013 and was shown at the AVEN French Veterans Annual Conference at the Maginot Centre.  In November the exhibition travelled to the Isle of Man where, following its opening by the Mayor of Douglas a special viewing and reception for Ministers of the Isle of Man government was held.  The exhibition remained in Douglas for the two week build up to Remembrance Day in support of the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal.

Gary was appointed official artist of the BNTVA and copies of his unique works have been used as presentational gifts to a number of international dignitaries.

The exhibition will continue to tour in the United Kingdom as it is supporting the showing of a documentary made about the Test Veterans which will be premiering at Westminster on 25th June before embarking on a 15 location tour during the latter part of the year.
